Pre-Flight and Right

sunny 22 °C

Greetings, Salutations, Welcome, and Hello,

A little background.

My name is Dave Snyder and I am a senior at Syracuse University studying Drama. I'm starting this thing because I leave for Beijing tomorrow morning on a mission of "Cultural Diplomacy." At least that's what the school is calling it. Truth is, myself and six others (our professor included) are heading over there to rehearse a production of King Lear for the 1st Annual Beijing Shakespeare Festival. Sounds pretty cool right? It is.

Throughout this trip I'll be taking pictures, writing notes, filming videos, etc. to share with anyone who chooses to read this. It's an easy way to keep everyone I know and love up to date on what I am doing in Beijing.

As you can guess, this is all pretty exciting. We'll be performing for 3 thousand seat houses, staying at Peking University, have open dialogue with English speaking students, buying lots of cheap goodies, and, of course, sightseeing.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to e-mail me at DavidTSnyder@Gmail.com and I'll have another post tomorrow morning at the airport.
